Advocating for those in need and solving problems since 2000.
A born and raised Southern Californian and now Bay Area devotee, Dylan Miars dedicates his life to efficient advocacy and maximizing his impact on altruistic endeavors. I specialize in a variety of matters, from operations style work, to political research on organizational formation and radicalization, to stress and mental health seminars. Whether you’re a business professional, academic, or anything under the sun, I am not only interested in helping you develop the next life-changing idea, but I’ll also help it thrive in the world and solve any problems along the way. I bring extensive experience and professionalism to every case and customize my support to your individual needs and concerns.
I’ve worked on my various specialties since the mid-2010s. I keep my finger on the pulse of modern research and problem-solving methods across numerous fields and have monitored their evolution to inform my own approaches—all to provide you exceptional support that will last for years to come.

Areas of Speciality
Operations
Operations often feels like a catch-all term for the department dedicated to getting stuff done. I’m a knowledgeable problem-solver with experience in organization types ranging from community level to startups and political campaigns. I specialize in internal ops and building sustainable systems, but am comfortable adapting to a variety of industries and industry-specific needs, with my most recent endeavors including Alvea: a biosecurity start-up.
NUCLEAR SECURITY & RESEARCH
My academic background focuses on international conflict resolution and security. I prioritize studying nuclear security & nuclear effects as a way to inform international policy and support the goal to eliminate nuclear weapons & the constant threat that they pose. My current work examines second-order economic impacts and the importance of communication and linkage institutions between states to de-escalate conflict. If you would like to read my research. Feel free to use the Contact Me Form
emotional literacy
Stress and emotional well-being is what put me on the map. I have lectured on stress and emotional literacy for over four years now, acting as UC Berkeley’s youngest paid faculty on staff and the youngest in America. Some of my talks and workshops have been featured at Fortune 500 companies such as Google and Airbnb and are regularly livestreamed for anyone to attend. I specialize in emotional well-being disparities in minority communities, stress management in the modern workplace, and the genetics of trauma.
wine and spirits sommelier
A guilty pleasure unrelated to any of my professional pursuits. I am a WSET Level 3 Certified Sommelier in Wine and Spirits. While mainly a hobby and passion when not working, I have consulted many restaurants in the Bay Area on wine and spirit lists as well as the creation of custom cocktails. I’d love to hear about what you like to drink and your favorite hobbies.
